Ladakhi Pure Sheep Wool, Goncha (Robe) with Sash

Handmade in pure warm sheep wool, a traditional design worn by shepherds, monks and warriors alike. Substantially driven by attitude, its only for those who can hold a flag for themselves and allow the rest to gasp! All natural, eco friendly and carbon neutral, you would not only lead the pack for attitude, but the goodness of your heart.

Goncha, a voluminous robe of thick wool with a colourful belt tied at the waist is the most common Ladakhi dress for men and with a little variation, for women. Buddhists mainly wear brick red robes but the nomads of Changthang and Kargil wear un-dyed natural colored gonchas.
